DotFocus is a privacy-first focus training application that uses webcam-based attention tracking to help users improve their concentration and focus.

2. User Accounts

2.1 Account Creation

  • You must be at least 13 years old to create an account
  • You must provide accurate and complete information
  • You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account
  • You are responsible for all activities under your account

2.2 Account Termination

You may delete your account at any time from the Settings page. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

3. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any illegal purpose
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service
  • Interfere with or disrupt the Service
  • Reverse engineer or attempt to extract source code
  • Use automated systems to access the Service without permission
  • Share your account credentials with others

4. Subscription and Payments

4.1 Free Tier

The free tier includes:

  • 1 session per day
  • Last 7 days of history
  • Basic focus score

4.2 Pro Subscription

Pro subscriptions are billed monthly and include:

  • Unlimited sessions
  • Full history access
  • Advanced features and insights

4.3 Billing

  • Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled
  • You can cancel anytime from Settings
  • No refunds for partial months
  • Prices may change with 30 days notice

4.4 Payment Processing

Payments are processed securely through Stripe. We do not store your credit card information.

5. Privacy and Data

Your privacy is important to us. Please review our Privacy Policy to understand how we collect, use, and protect your data.

  • No raw video is stored
  • You can export or delete your data anytime

6. Intellectual Property

6.1 Our Content

The Service, including its design, features, and content, is owned by DotFocus and protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

6.2 Your Data

You retain all rights to your session data and metrics. We do not claim ownership of your data.

7. Disclaimers and Limitations

7.1 No Medical Claims

DotFocus is a training tool, not a medical device. We make no claims about treating, diagnosing, or curing any medical condition.

7.2 Service Availability

We strive for 99.9% uptime but cannot guarantee uninterrupted service. We may perform maintenance or updates that temporarily affect availability.

7.3 Accuracy

While we work to ensure accurate tracking and scoring, results may vary based on lighting, camera quality, and other factors. Focus scores are estimates, not medical measurements.

7.4 Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, DotFocus shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service.

8. Changes to Service

We reserve the right to modify or discontinue the Service (or any part thereof) at any time. We will provide reasonable notice of material changes.

9. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via email or through the Service. Your continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
